Inspirés par un scan 3D de la maison où j’ai grandi avant que celle-ci soit vendue, les 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 et leurs béances évoquent la transformation du souvenir et de l’affect lié à un lieu. Si la technologie du scan tentait de saisir la totalité d’un espace, c’est finalement un territoire troué qui se dessine, inhabitable.
Inspired by a 3D scan of the house I grew up in before it was sold, the Dead walls (𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴) and their gaps evoke the transformation of memory and affect linked to a place. If the technology of the scan attempted to capture the totality of a space, it is ultimately a perforated territory that takes shape, uninhabitable.
