Le jour est une sculpture photographique représentant une porte de nuit. À la fois abstraite et tout à fait figurative, elle tente de faire en sorte que sujet et support de représentation se confondent. Travaillée à la cire, elle abolit la dichotomie recto/verso traditionnelle de l'image et prolonge l'ambiguïté d'un objet monolithique en interaction avec la lumière environnante.
Daylight is a photographic sculpture representing a door at night. Both abstract and completely figurative, it attempts to make the subject and the medium of representation merge. Transparent, it abolishes the traditional front/back dichotomy of the image and extends the ambiguity of a monolithic object in interaction with the surrounding light.
